Giving Information
The Character Training Institute (CTI) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gifts are much appreciated, and they are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Click on the link to Network for Good to make your online donation.
CTI is funded by material sales, seminar registrations, and donations from people like you. Contributions may be designated toward a specific need (although CTI reserves final authority over how funds are used) or given without designation to support CTI's operating expenses.
CTI is committed to financial responsibility. Expenses are monitored by the CTI Board of Directors, ensuring that funds are wisely spent. You may request a public copy of CTI's annual 990PF report to the Internal Revenue Service by contacting the CTI Finance Office at 405.815.0001.
Current Needs:
1. International Training and Development
CTI receives frequent requests to conduct seminars around the world for organizations and schools
with limited funds. Donations to this project will be used to offset travel expenses,
translation of materials, and other expenses incurred
while developing international projects.
2. Capital Improvements
Contributing to this fund will help offset costs incurred with computer upgrades, new software, printing and copying, and occasional office furniture used by CTI.
3. Curriculum Development
CTI is currently developing new curriculum for elementary teachers, high school teachers, English instructors, and prisoner training programs. Costs include hiring special writers, graphic artists, and publishing the finished material. Contributions to this fund will go to the most urgent curriculum development needs.
4. Oklahoma City School Mentoring
CTI staff and volunteers sponsor Character First! Education curriculum in numerous Oklahoma City public
schools. You can sponsor a child for one-year at $25, a class for $100, or more classes at larger increments.
